Don
Jordan was born in Montreal.
A choreographer, master jazz dance teacher, actor and singer for
many years, he has been seen in numerous films, in television series
and commercials, and on Canadian, American, European, and Haitian
stages.
After completing his years of training in the United States and
Montreal, Don opened the dance school known as Dance Factory Inc. as
co-artistic director and master teacher with Phillip Cole. The
school remained open for 16 years and during that time trained many
dancers who are still working today in dance companies, and on the
stages of Broadway theaters and cabarets.
Don continues to bring his expertise and joy of teaching to both
the professional dancer and recreational dancer alike. |

Phillip
Cole was born in the mecca city of jazz ... New Orleans.
With a reputation as a choreographer, master jazz dance teacher and
actor, Phillip studied with the elite of artists such as Katherine
Dunham, Luigi and Phil Black. His dance career has taken him from
New Orleans throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and
Haiti.
Phillip arrived in Montreal in the fall of 1977 at the invitation to
join the Montreal dance company Les Ballets Jazz. After a few
seasons with the company, he opened Dance Factory Inc. with Don
Jordan. For the past six years Phillip has been teaching on staff at
New York State University
at Plattsburgh as head of the dance in the theater department. |
